Watering Poly nigh grounds A petition from the property owners on Riverine Avenue from Hickey to Tenth St., to have said Avenue oiled and gravelle~ property owners to pay for oil and gravel and City to spread same, was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, same is granted. # A petition from the property owners on Riverine Avenue from 6th to Hickey to have said Avenue oiled and gravelled, was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by qreenleaf and carried, ordered referred to Street Committee. The application of the Pac. Tel. & Tel.Oo., accompanied with blue print showing location and asking permission to exca- vate in the 8treete was on motion of Trustee McPhee duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, referred to a committee to investigate and report. The President appointing City Ingineer, Street Supt. and Trustee McPhee as such committee. On motion of Trustee MeShes, duly seconded and carried the City Clerk is instructed to notify the S.A.V.I.~ompany to remove an irrigating ditch gate or box on West 17th Street. on the property acquired from Sarah A.Rose. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, Mr.~luor ia granted permission to excavate under the sidewalk on Fain St. but disallowed the privilege on 4th St. and not allowed to use a trap door on Main Street, to replace the gutter under the sidewalk on Main St. to the satisfaction and u~der the supervision of the City. On motion duly seconded and carried, the President appointed Trustee McPhee to arrange for the removal of the surplus dir' on Fast 2nd and etd Sra. # On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the deed of Sarah A.Ros8 to the City for a 2§ ft. 8trip off the North side of her property on West 17th St., was referred to the City Attorney to look into the reserva- tion of same. The request of the $inal Dome Refining Co., to have the Oity oil and roll their grounds at 6th and Broadway was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded b7 Tubbs and carried,ordere¢ that Sutp. of Streets do the work and the Company pay for 8ams. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and cart&ed, the Supt. of Streets ia instructed to water the Po17 High School Athletic grounds and collect cost for same.
