Cai.Auto Club Refund on Auto In Re Auto for hir~ license In Re Santa Aha Civic Club The application of Fred Anthony for a license to conduct a lunch counter at the corner of Fourth and Bush ate., back of the Cal. · ational Bank Bldg., read and upon motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the same is granted. The application of H.Morse, to remove a camphor tree in front of his residence 818 Riverine Ave., read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by McPhee, referred to Street Oom~ittee with power to act. The application of John H.Holt for the appointment as a special police officer at the Fair grounds during Fair week Oct.12th to 16th, read and upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, referred to the Fair Oommittee. A petition from the Spurgeon Realty Os., to have the restricted district for public speaking extended to 4th and Broadway read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, same be referred to a committee. The President appointed Trustee Tubbs and Greenleaf as such committee. # The petition of the So.~al.Auto Olub for a permit to erect and maintain iron posts for signs at 4th and Main, 5th and Main, 4th and Sycamore, and one on Sycamore in front of Hotel Rossmore , was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, that the petition be referred to a committee was duly seconded and carried, The President appointing Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf as the committee with power to act. # The applicatio~as of M.~.House, and O. Nee for a refund on their auto for hire licenses, read and upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carri'ed, same is granted. The application of Leonard Joseph for an auto for hire license to run an auto bus between this Oity and Fair grounds, read and on motion of Trustee Tmbbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried that same be granted for one week at $2.§0 per day and to be guaranteed by a certified check to cover the amount for one week. A communication from the Santa Ana Oivic Olub asking permission to use the Oouncil ~namber the first Saturday of each month to hold
