Co. accompanied by a voucher' <br />for $2~4.O?, franchise tax, under Ordinance No.3Sl, was on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />ca~ried, referred to a committee. President Visel appointing <br />Trustees Greenleaf and Naryatt as such committee. <br /> <br />The request of the County Board of Supervisors, that the City <br />send a representative to attend the conference of all countie~ <br />at Sacramento in reference to the regulation of traffic on <br />public highways of the State and County, was on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, that <br />the President of the Board appoint some member to attend the <br />conference, and the City to defray the expense. President <br />Vlsel appointed Trustee NcPhee ___ Trustee Tubbs as alternate <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br /> <br />carried, a fire escape was <br />Wain and Church Sts. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> <br /> ordered in on the NcCormack Bldg. <br />used as a Business College. <br /> <br />On motlon of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, sidewalk and curb was ordered in on North Ross St. <br />directly South of school property, to connect with the side- <br />walk on the South. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and p~ssed by the <br />following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, Greenleaf, Naryatt and <br />Visel, Noes, Trustees None., Absent Trustee NcPhee, Breeden <br />St. was ordered curbed and paved with a concrete base and <br />asphaltum wearing surface from the South line of 3rd St., to <br />the South side cf 4~h St. <br /> <br />The motion cf Trustee Tubbs, that the President appoint a <br />committee to lnveatigate the compensation for J.A.Prestcn, <br /> <br /> a volunteer fireman, injured while respondin$ to fire call, <br />was duly seconded and carried, Trustees Tubbe ~nd Creenleaf <br />were appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion duly <br /> <br />Graenleaf were <br /> <br />gating the cost <br />First <br /> <br /> seconded and carried, <br /> appointed a committee <br /> <br /> of putting shoulders <br />and West Qth Sts. <br /> <br />Trustees NcPhee and <br /> <br />in. reference to lnvestl- <br />along pavement on East <br /> <br /> <br />
