On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded and carried,City Engineer Bonebrake and Street Supt. OBrien were instructed to improve the drainage on 4th and Birch Sts. An Ordinance prohibiting the making of any untrue state- ment in relation to merchandise offered for sale, was give2 first reading, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconds by Greenleaf and carried, referred to the City Attorney. An Ordinance defining transient or itinerant merchants, fixing license fees and providing a penalty and repealing all Ordinances in conflict therewith, was given first read- ing, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, referred to the City Attorney. A Resolution of Intention of the tion to macadamize West Chestnut, Board declaring its lnten- Pine and Highland Sts. from the West line of Flower to East line of Baker Sts., was given first reading, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, referred to the duly seconded by Greenle~f and carried, City Attorney.
