OBrien was instructed to sweep that por- <br />tion of pavement on Fruit St., from Mortimer to Garfiel <br />which has become rough from traffic using the same <br /> <br />tracks and apply a thin coat <br />on s~e. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HcPhee, <br /> <br />of oil and reg~read'.'~' <br /> <br />duly seconded ~F Tubbs <br /> <br /> and carried, the Street Supt.was instructed to spread <br /> road oil on Baker from 4th to 5th Sta,, <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and carried, City Attorney Scott was instructed to <br />prepare an Ordinance along the one in use at Long Beach <br />for ~ public mamket. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee McPhee that the President appoint <br />a committee to investigate the cost, route and other <br />details on securing an outfall sewer, was duly seconded <br />and carried, President Visel appointing Trustees MoPhe~ <br />Greenlesf, and Water Supt, Reid as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion, duly seconded and carried, Wells & Bressler <br />were granted permission to close the following streets: <br />Garfield from Vance to Wellington Ave. and Vance from <br />Lacy to Garfield, in order to pave said portions of <br />streets under Specifications <br /> <br />Upon motion duly seconded and carried, Wells and Bressl~ <br />were granted permission to circulate a petition on West <br />10th from Ross to Parton in order to pave said portion <br />of street under Specifications <br /> <br />A motion by Trustee Tubbs that the Board consent to the <br />assignment of the City Scavenger Contract by Eyraud <br />to Hulbert & Tats, and release of their bond upon pre- <br />sentation of assignment and new bond satisfactory to <br />Board, was duly seconded by McBhee and carried. <br /> <br />A motion by Trustee Greenleaf, that ~ committee be <br />appointed in reference to checking the City Recorder's <br />reports to ascertain if portion of fines turned over to <br />County Treasurer for traffic violations should be ret~ <br />ed to the City, was duly secnmded and carried, President <br />Vieel appointed Trustees Greenlesf and Tubbs,Marshal <br /> <br /> <br />
