Scott received ~ votea <br /> <br />Trustee McPhee being absent at this time, and the four member~ <br />present not being able to make a choice,Trustee Maryatt's <br />motion that the appointment be left open until Monday evening <br />Feb. 14th,1918, and that the President act as temporary Pire <br />Oomissioner until then was duly seconded and carried. <br /> <br /> The monthly reports of the Marshal and Recorder was on motion <br /> of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br /> accepted and ordered placed on file. <br /> <br />The report of Dr.J.I.Olark,Health Officer was read and asking <br />that the City Attorney be instructed to begin proceedings <br />against Hugh Beatty compelling him to remove public nuisance <br />caused by his dairy at 808 N.Baker, was on motion of Trustee <br />Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the 0ity Attorney <br />was instructed to prepare a Resolution to abate said nuisance. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, Warrants were ordered drawn on the City Treasurer to <br />cover demands No.1033 to lZl~. inclusive. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs to rescind the action taken Jan. <br />3rd,1918, in reference to paying all regular help on the first <br />of each month and change the date to the 10th of each month <br />was duly seconded and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, Board adjourned to meet Peb.14th, 1918, at 7:$0 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
