In Re <br /> <br />Electric sign <br /> <br />Blue tine Stags <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Paving West ~.nd St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Paving for Cypress Ave. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Vrooman Act for <br /> <br />Cypress <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Specifications for <br /> <br />Walnut St. paving <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Poinsettia St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bill of Dr.Wehrly <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bill of Palmer Motor Shop. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Unlighted Electric Signs <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and cart. <br />led, the petition of the Palmer Motor Shop to erect an electric <br />sign dot the Blue Line Stage in front of their place of business <br />was referred back for improvement and to conform to the 0rdinan(~. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, the City Attorney ie instructed to start proceedings <br />under the Vrooman Act to compel the paving of West 2nd from <br />Main to Birch. <br /> <br />A petition signed by a majority of the property owners on 0ypre~ <br />from First to Chestnut for paving said street with a 4 inch con- <br />crete base and 1{ inch asphaltic concrete wearing surface simila <br />to tlmt o~f Orange Ave., 0hestnut and Pine, was on motion of <br />Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, granted <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded and carried, the <br />0ity Attorney is instructed %$z~roceed with the Vrooman Act <br />for paving Cypress Ave. against property owners who have not <br />signed for paving. <br /> <br />Specifications for paving with oil macadam on Walnut St.,betweem <br />Orange and Cypress Aves., was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly <br />seconded by Tubbs and carried,ordered filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried <br />the City Attorney is instructed to proceed to start action to <br />form an assessment district for the widening of Poinsettia St. <br />from Washington Ave. to 14th, the district to pay the cost of <br />opening said street. <br /> <br />The bill of Dr. John Wehrly for $8.25 against Paul Judge an <br />employee of the Street Dept., for services rendered Mr. Judge <br />who was injured while working for the City, was on motion of <br />Trastee Maryatt, duly seconded by YcPhee and carried,ordered <br />paid. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, <br />the Palmer Motor Shop's bill of $18.00 for installing lights in <br />the Council Chamber was allowed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried,the City <br />Marshal is instructed to notify all parties having electric sign~ <br />to have same lighted at night or signs to be taken down. <br /> <br /> <br />
