Follett for a pool and billiard <br />parlor license at his place of business 309 E.4th St., <br />was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried <br />referred to a committee for investigation. The President <br />appointed Trustees Tubbs and Maryatt am such committee. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt <br /> <br />and carried, P.A.Gardner and A.A.Avery were granted <br />$20.80 each refund on auto for hire license. <br /> <br />A petition signed by a majority of the property owners <br />on Lacy St., from 5th to Wellington Ave., for oil and <br />screened gravel, city to spread the gravel and put street <br />in condition, property owners to pay for the material,was <br />on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded hy Greenleaf <br />and carried, abutting property owners on the alley between <br />Lacy and ~lnter from Vance to Wellington Ave., are grante~ <br />permission to oil and gravel said alley, the City to grade <br />same, and property owners to pay for material. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, H.E.Smith, et al, are g.ranted permission to close <br />Cypress Ave., from the South line of First St., to the Nor <br />line of Chestnut Ave., and Second St. from the West side <br />~ain to the East side of Birch for the purpose of paving <br />said street under Specifications No.80. The necessary <br />bond to be approved by the President of the Board. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Tubbe that O.B.Alderman be appoints <br />Inspector fo~ the paving to be done on Cypress f~om First <br />to Chestnut and on Second from Main to Birch, was duly <br />seconded by Maryatt and carried. <br /> <br />Geo.W.Minter and F.P. Nickey of the Ornamental Light <br />Committee were before the Board stating that certain poles <br />and hydrants on the sites of the proposed ornamental ligh~ <br />posts would have to be removed. Upon motion of Trustee <br />~oPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, action on <br />removing the fire hydrants was deferred one week, the <br /> <br />Board to act as a committee of the whole. <br /> <br />;h <br /> <br /> <br />
