Whaley for a license to conduct a lunch wagon on the Buchheim property 3rd and Bush Sts., was on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, granted. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, S.T. and O.E. Bullock were granted a license to con- duct a restaurant in the Meyers Bldg. on Spurgeon St., The application of the Santa Aha Vulcanizing Igmition & Supply Co., for a permit to install a gasoline pump attachment in front of their place of business,51Y N.Main St., was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, referred to a committee for investigation. The Presiient appointing Trustees McPhee and Greealeaf as a committee. The report of the Joint Pole Committee recommending the different removal and locations of poles was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried referred to the ~itizerm Committee of the Ornamental Lighting District. Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, the bonds of the Orange Co. Engineering & Construction Co., with G.P. Hill and A.C.Bowers as sureties, to do private cement contracting work and paving on Cypress Ave. from First to Chestnut and Second from Main to Birch, were referred to the President for approval. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, Thcs. Walmsl~y is granted permission to place a large cl~ok to be lighted at night in front of his place of business at 805 E.4th St. The Bond of H.C.Xsllogg, et al, for $400.00 to cover the cost ~ material and labor for paving Walnut St.,between Cypress and Orange Ave. with oil macadam, was on motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, accepted. 61
