Reid was instructed to install in the ornamental <br /> the <br />Lighting district m new type of fire hydrants that are cover- <br /> <br />ed under ground. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Greenleaf that the President appoint <br /> <br />a committee to prepare an Ordinance regulating the storage <br />o~ gasoline, was duly seconded by McPhee and carried. <br /> <br />The President appointed the following committee,Trustee Green <br />leaf, City Attorney Scott, Fire Chief Jackson, ~nd Mac Robbin~ <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded~by McPhee and <br />carried, H.B.Cook was appointed a motorcycle policeman at <br />sala~y of $100.00 per month, to serve at the pleasume of the <br />Board, and to furnish his own machine and the upkeep of same, <br />to start work April let. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tub~s, that the City purchase the amount <br />of crushed rock needed at this time, was duly seconded by <br />Haryatt and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the <br />City Engineer te instructed to straighten the curb on West <br />Second St., between Broadway and Birch by making the parking <br />2 feet wider than at present on the South side of the Street <br /> <br />The committee consisting of Trustees McPhee and Tubbe appoints, <br />to investigate the cost for the necessary street equipment <br />was granted further time. Trustee MoPhee Chairman of the <br />committee appointed to interview the postal authorities in <br /> <br /> <br />
