Be <br /> <br />U~cmans Civic Club <br /> <br />Ccm.,unic mticn <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Auto <br /> <br />In ~e <br /> <br />Voticn to Rocon~ider <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Transfer cf Fur, 2s <br /> <br />Ir~ Re <br /> <br />Oork Cu? tofi?n <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, the application of T.L.Franke for a license to con- <br />duct a lunch stand on a vacant lot Boutheast corner of 4th <br />and Ross ets., was referred to a committee, the President <br />appointing Trustees McPhee and Maryatt as such committee. <br /> <br />A communication from the Womans Civic Club in reference to en- <br />forcing the law requiring property owners to clean vacant lots <br />and parking of weeds and rubbish was read and on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs that the street commission get the names of the <br />parties owning property that is in such condition and notify <br />same to be cleaned at once, wu ~u%$ seconded and carried. <br /> <br />The application of L.B.Smlley for an auto for hire license <br />accompanied by a $10,000 bond with the Casualty Co. of America <br /> <br />as surety, was on motion of Trustee <br />Maryatt and carried, license granted, <br /> <br /> President for approval. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, <br /> action taken March 6th, 1916, <br /> <br />Tubbs, duly seconded by <br />and bond referred to <br /> <br />duly seconded and carried, the <br />in reference to paying one-fourth <br /> <br />of the cost of a bridge on Monte Vista Street in the Southwest <br />part of the City, was stricken from the records. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, the City Clerk is instructed to transfer from the <br />General Fund $416.00 to the Park Fund, smae being the amount <br />paid out of the Park Fund for Park custodian for g months at <br />$52.00 per month. <br /> <br />A vote taken on the motion of Trustee Tubbs that W.J.Vander- <br />bruggen be appointed aa Park Custodian at a Salary at $75.00 <br />per month and the appointment of E.V.S. Pomeroy on the Park <br />Commission to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of <br /> <br />Fred Rafferty, <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />The ayes <br /> <br />made. <br /> <br /> resulted in the following vote: <br /> Tubbs,McPhee,and Visel. <br /> Greenleaf and Msuryatt. <br /> <br />having majority the President declared the appointment~ <br /> <br /> <br />
