Douche wee allowed a refund on taxes for $31.26 <br /> same being amount due him on a~count of the Bold~e~s' Exeml~- <br /> tion clause. <br /> <br /> The motion of Trustee McPhee that the fees allowed the <br /> Building Inspector, be increased to twice the amount allowed <br /> at present, was duly seconded by Naryatt and carried. <br /> <br /> The monthly reports of the City Marshal, Building Inspector <br /> Recorder, and Health Officer were on motion of Trustee Green- <br /> ~eaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, ordered received <br /> and placed on file. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, <br /> the President appointed the following as m committee to <br /> draft a new building Ordinance. The Building Inspector, <br /> City Attorney, Trustees McPhee and Maryatt. <br /> <br /> The motion of Trustee McPhee that the President appoint a <br /> committee of five citizens to ~ct as an auxiliary censor <br /> commission to especially look after matinees offered to <br /> children by the different motion picture theaters, was duly <br /> seconded by Tubbs and carried. President to name committee <br /> at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, that the President appoint a <br />committees in reference to a new street lighting contract <br />and investigate places where new lights are needed, etc. <br />was duly seconded by ~aryatt and carried. The President <br />appointed the following committee~ Trustees MoPhee, Maryatt <br />and Tubbs. <br /> <br />U~on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, the Marshal and Night Polloe were ordered to wear <br />uniforms. <br /> <br />Upon motiun of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, <br />the City Marshal is instructed to place a d, LmTy police <br />sign in the center of Main and First Sts. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by McPhee and <br /> <br />carried, <br />dumping, <br /> <br />residents on paved streets a~e prohibited from <br />grass, leaves or vine trimmings upon paved streets. <br /> <br /> <br />
