Douche wee allowed a refund on taxes for $31.26 same being amount due him on a~count of the Bold~e~s' Exeml~- tion clause. The motion of Trustee McPhee that the fees allowed the Building Inspector, be increased to twice the amount allowed at present, was duly seconded by Naryatt and carried. The monthly reports of the City Marshal, Building Inspector Recorder, and Health Officer were on motion of Trustee Green- ~eaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, ordered received and placed on file. Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the President appointed the following as m committee to draft a new building Ordinance. The Building Inspector, City Attorney, Trustees McPhee and Maryatt. The motion of Trustee McPhee that the President appoint a committee of five citizens to ~ct as an auxiliary censor commission to especially look after matinees offered to children by the different motion picture theaters, was duly seconded by Tubbs and carried. President to name committee at next meeting. On motion of Trustee McPhee, that the President appoint a committees in reference to a new street lighting contract and investigate places where new lights are needed, etc. was duly seconded by ~aryatt and carried. The President appointed the following committee~ Trustees MoPhee, Maryatt and Tubbs. U~on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Marshal and Night Polloe were ordered to wear uniforms. Upon motiun of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, the City Marshal is instructed to place a d, LmTy police sign in the center of Main and First Sts. On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, dumping, residents on paved streets a~e prohibited from grass, leaves or vine trimmings upon paved streets.
