The President appoint- <br />ing Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee as such committee. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Maryatt duly seconded by MoBhee and <br />carried, the bond of the Keystone Iron Works for installing <br />ornamental lights be left to the President for approval when <br />presented. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, that the Street Supt., lntervie~ <br />the minister of the U.P. Church, 6th and Bush Sts., in refer- <br />ence to having sidewalk repaired, in front of their property <br />was duly seconded b7 Greenleaf and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, the <br />Street Supt. is instructed to repair the dip crossings on <br />the following streets: 3rd and Sycamore, 5th and Sycamore, <br />5th and Birch ~t. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Greanleaf, duly seconded by McPhee and <br /> carried, the President appointed Trustees Greenleaf add <br /> M~ryatt as a committee to investigate in reference to charg- <br /> ing Z per cent for the use of City funds with Bonds as <br /> <br />security. <br /> <br />President Visel named the following: <br /> <br />committee, <br />by MoPhee <br /> <br />Mrs. Peter Van Doren, <br /> <br />Mrs.J.H.Wioks, Mrs. H.M.Robertson, Mrs. W.N.Allen, and <br />Mrs. ~$F~etamg, as members for a~ Auxiliary Censor <br />Commission to be known az the "Better Films for Children" <br /> <br /> was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded <br /> amd carried, the Board approved the appointment. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, the Street Supt. was empowered to &bate the nui- <br />sance of residents throwing trash, weeds, ets, on paved <br />streets. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, <br />the City Attorney ia instructed to take legal steps and to <br />notify property owners to abate the nuisance of an open <br />irrigating ditch On W.17th St., <br /> <br /> <br />
