On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, the conditions for sidewalks on East 6th between Lacy and Garfield is referred to a committee. The President appoint- ing Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee as such committee. Upon motion of Trustee Maryatt duly seconded by MoBhee and carried, the bond of the Keystone Iron Works for installing ornamental lights be left to the President for approval when presented. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, that the Street Supt., lntervie~ the minister of the U.P. Church, 6th and Bush Sts., in refer- ence to having sidewalk repaired, in front of their property was duly seconded b7 Greenleaf and carried. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, the Street Supt. is instructed to repair the dip crossings on the following streets: 3rd and Sycamore, 5th and Sycamore, 5th and Birch ~t. On motion of Trustee Greanleaf, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, the President appointed Trustees Greenleaf add M~ryatt as a committee to investigate in reference to charg- ing Z per cent for the use of City funds with Bonds as security. President Visel named the following: committee, by MoPhee Mrs. Peter Van Doren, Mrs.J.H.Wioks, Mrs. H.M.Robertson, Mrs. W.N.Allen, and Mrs. ~$F~etamg, as members for a~ Auxiliary Censor Commission to be known az the "Better Films for Children" was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded amd carried, the Board approved the appointment. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Street Supt. was empowered to &bate the nui- sance of residents throwing trash, weeds, ets, on paved streets. Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, the City Attorney ia instructed to take legal steps and to notify property owners to abate the nuisance of an open irrigating ditch On W.17th St.,
