City Hall, Santa Aha, Oal. <br /> April 17, 1~,1~-, <br /> <br />Board met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President. <br /> <br />Present~, Trustees Tubbs, MoPh~e, Greenleaf, Maryatt, <br /> <br />Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. <br /> <br />In R~ <br /> <br />'["CF 0 <br /> . o~ r. t <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />A~rlic:~tion for Folios <br /> <br />office, ~ <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />?treat ~i:'ht on <br /> <br />~rc?n a~f "~" ftc, <br /> <br />Auto License <br /> <br />In Se <br /> <br />~{ar of Henin;jer *th Adl. <br /> <br />Taxes <br /> <br />Advertisin~ Bi~ <br />fcr Conduits <br /> <br />Vlsel and the Clerk. <br /> <br />The application of Gust' Gotzios to stand hie pop corn stand <br /> <br />on the South side o£ 4th St., at Bush during day time and at <br />4th and Spurgeon on South side of 4th St. in evenings, was on <br />motion duly seconded and carried referred to Trustees Tubbs and <br />Greenleaf as a committee to investigate. <br /> <br />The application of Gao, West for appointment am a police officer <br />was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by NcPhee and <br />carried, ordered placed on file. <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners near "D" and Brown Sts., <br />to have installed a light at above intersections was on motion <br />of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt, and carried, ordered <br />filed for future reference. <br /> <br />A communication from Seal Beach asking for permission to have a <br />booster parade of automobiles, sma~ll floats, band, etc. through <br />the City sxlvertieing the opening of saidCity, was on motion of <br />Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and cemrled, that the <br />President of the Board write Mr. Bert St. John a cordial invita- <br />tion granting them the privilege desired. <br /> <br />The applications cf Earl Pittman, and O.H.Fowlar for auto for <br />hire licenses ~ccompanied by bonds of $10,000 each, was on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, <br />license granted ~nd bonds referred to President for approval. <br /> <br />~ map of Heninger's 4th Addition to the City was a~cepted by the <br />following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryat' <br />and Visel. Noes None. <br /> <br />l~pon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, the City Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant for <br />the amount of $106.O0 taxes due County on property situated out- <br />side of the City Limits. <br /> <br />On motion duly seconded and carried, the City Clerk wa~ in- <br />structed to advertise for bids installing ~78 ft. underground <br />conduits for fire alarm syete~ <br /> <br /> <br />
