A motion by Trustee Tubbs that $60.00 be allowed for same wam duly seconded by MoPhee and carried. # Upon motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded and carried, the City Marshal wa~ instructed to see that where horse clipping ie done, that hair from same is not thrown out in the ~lleys and streets, and where same has been done to see that it is removed. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the City Clerk is instructed to advertise for sealed btde~ 35 tons of barley and 15 tons of Alafalfa Hay; bids to be opened at first meeting in June. On motion of Trustee MoPhse, the committee consisting of duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf, in reference to the standing of Gust Corsica pop corn stand, was continued. The motion of Trustee Tubbs that the City Marehal be instructed to see that all electric eigne are lighted to at least ten p.m. each night, or have same removed, also that the Marshal notify to have sign lighted the Alexander Pool Hell, in front of their place of business, or remove same at once, was duly seconded amd carried. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, the action taken at the previous meeting in reference to the $11,O00 bridge bonds was rescinded ~ same to read $6,000. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McBhee and carried, the City Attorney is instructed to prepare an Ordinance prohibit- ing Jitney solicitors on the streets. A resolution to call a bond election for $6,000 for a bridge on North Flower ~treet and $9,0OO for street equipment was given final reading and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, that same be adopted, passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and Vlsel. Noes, Trustees None. An Ordinance prohibiting and regulating the holding of public meetings in the parks of the City and fixing & penalty therefor was read for the first reading and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, referred to the City Attorney An Ordinance defining motor trucks, transient and itinerant mer- an~ itin- chants, ftxlng licensee therefor and providing a penalty, was given first reading, and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf and camried, referred to City Attorney for correction and amendments.
