Alderman, Inspector for the paving <br />on C~prese from First to Pine, and on Second from Main <br />to Birch, stating that said pavement was finished accord. <br />lng to specifications. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, the report was accepted and ordered placed on <br />file. <br /> <br />On motion of Trumtee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee and <br />carried, Dart & MoKlnzie, housemovers, are granted per- <br />mission to remove a frame building from the corner of <br />4th & Mortimer over the following streets. <br /> <br />North on Mortimer to Fruit, East on Fruit to Grand Ave. <br />South on Grand Ave., to Second, East on Second to MoClay <br />South on McOlay to Oity Limits. <br /> <br />The application of Chas. H. Baldwin asking for permissio <br />to stand a one horse dray at the corner of 4th and Roes <br />on the South side of 4th, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br />duly seconded and carried, referred to a committee for <br />investigation. The President appointed Trustees Tubbs <br />and MoPhee as much committee, with power to act. <br /> <br /> A protest from R.C.Boyd, a photographer, in reference to <br /> paying & merchant's license, was on motion of Trustee <br /> McPhee, duly seconded and carried, referred to the City <br /> Attorney also the Ordinance governing licenses, and m <br /> committee consisting of Trustees Tubbs and McPhee for <br /> corrections and amendments, of said Ordinance. <br /> <br /> The application of the Cope Electric Co., asking for <br /> permission to erect an electric sign at 221 W. ~th St. <br /> was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee <br /> and carried, referred to the City Electrician, to report <br /> at next meeting. <br /> <br /> A petition wigned by some of the property owners asking <br /> to have Fifth St., pavement from Bush to Broadway re- <br /> surfaced with & two inch asphaltum surface, was on motio: <br /> of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, action <br /> deferred and petition referred to & committee consisting <br /> of Trustee McPhee, Wells, Kellogg and McFadden, to repor~ <br /> <br /> <br />
