Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by the President. Present, Trustees Tubbe, McPhee, Greenleaf, Absent, Trustee Maryatt. Alderman, Inspector for the paving on C~prese from First to Pine, and on Second from Main to Birch, stating that said pavement was finished accord. lng to specifications. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the report was accepted and ordered placed on file. On motion of Trumtee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, Dart & MoKlnzie, housemovers, are granted per- mission to remove a frame building from the corner of 4th & Mortimer over the following streets. North on Mortimer to Fruit, East on Fruit to Grand Ave. South on Grand Ave., to Second, East on Second to MoClay South on McOlay to Oity Limits. The application of Chas. H. Baldwin asking for permissio to stand a one horse dray at the corner of 4th and Roes on the South side of 4th, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, referred to a committee for investigation. The President appointed Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee as much committee, with power to act. A protest from R.C.Boyd, a photographer, in reference to paying & merchant's license, was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, referred to the City Attorney also the Ordinance governing licenses, and m committee consisting of Trustees Tubbs and McPhee for corrections and amendments, of said Ordinance. The application of the Cope Electric Co., asking for permission to erect an electric sign at 221 W. ~th St. was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, referred to the City Electrician, to report at next meeting. A petition wigned by some of the property owners asking to have Fifth St., pavement from Bush to Broadway re- surfaced with & two inch asphaltum surface, was on motio: of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, action deferred and petition referred to & committee consisting of Trustee McPhee, Wells, Kellogg and McFadden, to repor~
