A request from the Ministerial Association that Rev. P.F.Schrock be named as successor to Rev. Paul Wright resigned, as a member of motion of Trustee Tubbs, and carried, referred to act. ~he.motion of Trustee Tubbs, the Censor Committee, was on duly seconded hy Greenleaf the President with power to that abutting property owners on East First St., re-surface the pavement on said Street from the Santa Fe Railroad track to the City Limits on the East, with asphaltum, said work to be done in 90 days, was duly seconded by McPhee and carried. Upon the motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, it was decided to accept the cheaper grade of street paving in the future in resi- dence sections, with oil, crushed rock,etc., gutters to be 2 ft. wide and 4 inches thick of cement ooncret~ the same kind of paving put in on Walnut between Main and Orange Ave. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and camried, the City Attorney is instructed to pre- pare an Ordinance prohibiting the moving of old build lngs into the City and prohibiting the moving of old buildings already situated in the City, further than 200 ft., The Street Supt. was instructed on motion of Trustee Tubbs,, duly seconded and carried, to repair North Main St., from the Bridge to Buffalo Ave. and Santa Clams from Main to Broadway with crushed rock and oil An Ordinance calling for & bond election of $6,000 for bridge on North Flower Street, and $9,000 street equipment was given first reading, and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, that same be referred to City Attorney, resulted in the follow- ing vote:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf, Noes, Trustees McPhee and Visel. Absent, Trustee Maryatt. Not receiving a majority of the votes cast, the Ordi- nance was tabled.
