Pavement on 4th St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Crushed rock <br /> <br />In Re <br />Ordinance <br /> <br /> and Construction Co., to close Fifth St., from Bush to <br /> Broadway for re-surfacing same as soon as necessary bond <br /> has been approved by the President of the Board and City <br /> Attorney. <br /> <br /> On motion duly seconded and carried, <br /> The Orange County Engineering and Construction Co., are <br /> <br /> granted permission to close Fruit St., from Mortimer to <br /> Garfield for paving said street with crushed rook and oil <br /> according to the specifications under consideration, ae <br /> soon as all necessary ga~, sewer ~nd water connections have <br /> been made and bonds of the Company have been filed and <br /> approved by the President of the ~ard~amd City Attorney. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded and carried, the <br /> to sign for r¢~u~£~ce President of the Board is authorized to sign contract for <br /> <br /> re-eumfacing 125 ft. of pavement on Fifth St., frontage of <br /> Public Library. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the <br /> Street Supt. is instructed to prohibit in the future the <br /> habit of cement contractors in using paved streets for mixin <br /> concrete without first laying planks or sheet iron on said <br /> streets. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe <br /> carried, the Street Supt. is instructed to notify property <br /> owners, and others, to hav~ thw wooden bridges used for <br /> approache, over gutters, etc. and extending into the street <br /> removed before the expiration of 14 days, or same to be <br /> ~emoved by Street Su~t. to City barn. <br /> <br /> A motion of Trustee McPhee that & committee be appointed <br /> and the President of the Board communicate with Mt.Pontius <br /> cf the P.E.Rallroad for an appointment in reference to <br /> having said Company repair the pavement on 4th ~t., over <br /> their right-of-way, was duly seconded and carried. <br /> Trustees MoPhee and Tubbs were named a~ a committee to act <br /> with the President. <br /> <br /> The specifications of crushed rock and oil macadam for stree' <br />and oil ~aci~ic~tion~ paving were read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly <br /> <br /> eedonded by Maryatt and carried, referred back to the City <br /> Engineer for amendment. <br /> <br />Amending Ord. 602 <br /> <br />An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No.602 of the City providing <br />for the regulation of automobiles for hire and adding a new <br /> <br /> <br />
