In Re Permit Instructions 5th St. to close Fruit gt., In Re Concrete ~ixing on raved streets Tooden a~rroeches In Re P.E. Pavement on 4th St. In Re Crushed rock In Re Ordinance and Construction Co., to close Fifth St., from Bush to Broadway for re-surfacing same as soon as necessary bond has been approved by the President of the Board and City Attorney. On motion duly seconded and carried, The Orange County Engineering and Construction Co., are granted permission to close Fruit St., from Mortimer to Garfield for paving said street with crushed rook and oil according to the specifications under consideration, ae soon as all necessary ga~, sewer ~nd water connections have been made and bonds of the Company have been filed and approved by the President of the ~ard~amd City Attorney. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded and carried, the to sign for r¢~u~£~ce President of the Board is authorized to sign contract for re-eumfacing 125 ft. of pavement on Fifth St., frontage of Public Library. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the Street Supt. is instructed to prohibit in the future the habit of cement contractors in using paved streets for mixin concrete without first laying planks or sheet iron on said streets. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe carried, the Street Supt. is instructed to notify property owners, and others, to hav~ thw wooden bridges used for approache, over gutters, etc. and extending into the street removed before the expiration of 14 days, or same to be ~emoved by Street Su~t. to City barn. A motion of Trustee McPhee that & committee be appointed and the President of the Board communicate with Mt.Pontius cf the P.E.Rallroad for an appointment in reference to having said Company repair the pavement on 4th ~t., over their right-of-way, was duly seconded and carried. Trustees MoPhee and Tubbs were named a~ a committee to act with the President.
