In Re <br /> <br />Permit, Holiness Church <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />?rct~=st Pcp Corn stan~ <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Orm~nent~l light celebration <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Extra Oolice <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Committee to act with <br /> <br />Fiesta de Luz committee <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit tc close 5th o, <br /> <br />Ayes, <br />Noes, <br /> <br />rook a~cording to the plans and specifications being con- <br />sidered by the committee, was on motion of Trustee Maryatt, <br />duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, granted. <br /> <br />Two members of the Holiness Church were before the Board <br />a~klng permission to have their church moved from Sutside <br />the City to the corner of First and Flower ets., the per- <br />mission was granted upon the motion of Trustee Greenleaf, <br />and the following vote to-wit: <br /> <br /> Trustees Greenle~f, Maryatt and Vtsel. <br /> <br /> Trustees Tubbe and MoPhee. <br /> <br /> Trustee McPhee reported that m protest had been made to him <br /> about pop corn stands on $purgeon St., between 3rd and 4th <br /> asking that same be not allowed, and on motion of Trustee <br /> McPhee, duly seconded that Trustee Greenleaf be appointed <br /> a committee of one to investigate and report, carried. <br /> <br />R.L.Bisby Chairman of the Fiesta de Luz Committee was before <br />the Board requesting the following: <br /> <br />First, that there he a section of the parade est aside for <br /> <br />the display of equipment of the City. <br /> <br />Second, that the City decorate with flags and buting as much <br />as possible. <br /> <br />Third, that the City refuse to grant peddlers license ac that <br />no outsiders canmcome in; to allow local dealers to sell ser- <br />pentine confetti. <br /> <br />Fourth, tO olc~e Bush and Broadway between 3rd and 4th, and <br />between 4th and 5th. <br /> <br />Fifth. City Trustees to head parade and have President of the <br />Board turn on lights from reviewing stand in front of CityHall. <br />Sixth. Close 4th St., from Ross to Mortimer during pare~de, <br />and allow no machines or vehicles~park in this area. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> carried, the above requests were granted. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee IoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />cemried, 15 special police are to be ewern in as extra policemez <br />during ornamental light celebration. <br /> <br />On motion, duly seconded and carried, the President appointed <br />Trustee Maryatt as a member to act with the President as a <br />committee with the Fiesta de Luz committee in reference to the <br />City departments taking part in the parade. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, permission is granted the Orange County Engineering <br /> <br /> <br />
