Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Santa Ana, City Hall, June ~th, l~16, Maryatt, Visel and the Clerk. Reference to extra police for Fiesta de Luz parade to read 15 extra police be sworn in to serve without pay. Upon motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by McPhee and carri, the Orange Co. Poultry Fanciers Association were granted permissi to use the Council Chambers on the evening of June 14th, 1916. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, W.B.Alexander was granted license to conduct two pool tables at 309 E.4th St., The application of R.L.Hulburt for a permit to erect two sign. boards at the Lyric Theater, 21~ E.4th St., boards to encircle gas lamp posts, not to be over 6 ft. 6 inches high and 3 ft. 6 in. wide. Permission was granted on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried. The application of J.P.Spaulding f~r the appointment of Deputy Health Inspector, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, the appointment of ~ Deputy Health Inspector was laid over until after July lst,1916. The application of Dart & McKinzie to move two frame buildings one from the 600 Blk. on Broadway and one from 1150 E.Santa Clara was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, per- mission granted with the understanding that the applicants comply with the Ordinance, secure a permit from the Building Inspector and a routing to be satisfactory to the Street Supt. The monthly reports of the Building Inspector and City Marshal was on motion of Trustee McPhee, that reading of same be waived and they be mcoepted and ordered placed on file, was duly seconded and carried. Bids for furnishing the City with hay was received from A.L.Kavanaugh, Nioholls-Loomis Co., O. Rosenbaum, McPherson & Melton, C.L.Rsberts and A.B.Crane, on motion duly seconded and carried, same was referred to a committee consisting of Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs.
