Poultry Fanciers Association were granted permissi <br /> to use the Council Chambers on the evening of June 14th, 1916. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, <br /> W.B.Alexander was granted license to conduct two pool tables at <br /> 309 E.4th St., <br /> <br /> The application of R.L.Hulburt for a permit to erect two sign. <br /> boards at the Lyric Theater, 21~ E.4th St., boards to encircle <br /> gas lamp posts, not to be over 6 ft. 6 inches high and 3 ft. 6 in. <br /> wide. Permission was granted on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly <br /> seconded by Maryatt and carried. <br /> <br /> The application of J.P.Spaulding f~r the appointment of Deputy <br /> Health Inspector, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded <br /> and carried, the appointment of ~ Deputy Health Inspector was <br /> laid over until after July lst,1916. <br /> <br />The application of Dart & McKinzie to move two frame buildings <br />one from the 600 Blk. on Broadway and one from 1150 E.Santa Clara <br />was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, per- <br />mission granted with the understanding that the applicants comply <br />with the Ordinance, secure a permit from the Building Inspector <br />and a routing to be satisfactory to the Street Supt. <br /> <br />The monthly reports of the Building Inspector and City Marshal <br />was on motion of Trustee McPhee, that reading of same be waived <br />and they be mcoepted and ordered placed on file, was duly seconded <br />and carried. <br /> <br />Bids for furnishing the City with hay was received from <br /> A.L.Kavanaugh, Nioholls-Loomis Co., O. Rosenbaum, <br /> McPherson & Melton, C.L.Rsberts and A.B.Crane, <br /> on motion duly seconded and carried, same was referred to a <br /> committee consisting of Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs. <br /> <br /> <br />
