Gardner <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trtmtee ~bbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried, Trtmtee Maryatt was a~pointed President pro <br />rem. <br /> <br />The a~plioation of David Cohen for a license to conduct <br />pool room in the Arcade Bldg., 1025 E. ~th Street <br /> <br />read, and on motion~rtmtee ?ubhe, duly seconded and <br />carried, license granted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The bond of Geo. T. Dunn with the Globe Indemnity Co. <br />surety, to do private oontrant work of constructing <br />cement sidewalk, curb etc., <br />duly seconded by Greenlea~, <br /> <br />Chair for approval. <br /> <br />was on motion of Trustee Tubbe <br />and carried, referred to the <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners on last Pine between <br />Flower and Baker to have eald portion of Street gravelled <br />property owners to pay for gravel, and City to prepare <br />street and spread gravel, wan read, and on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenle~f and carried, <br />petition referred ba~k for more signatures, and to be <br />presented at next meeting. <br /> <br />A report from the Southern California Edison 0o., accepting <br />the work of the Palmer Motor Shop, of installing the <br />ornamental street lights on Fourth and Main Streets, was <br />read, and on motion of Trultee Greenleaf, duly seconded <br />by Tubbe and carried, report ordered filed. <br /> <br />A notice signed by A.B.Gardner, and Jank Miller, notifying <br />the Board of withd~&wing their names aa ouretiee on the <br />bond of N.C.Gardnar to do private contract work for sewer <br />construction, cement lidewalk and curbing, was on motion <br />of Trultee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, <br />ordered placed on file, and Street S~erintendent notified <br />to that effect. <br /> <br /> <br />
