Co., wa~ ~ooepted and the President <br />of the Board authorized to sign contract for same. <br />Bids for printing from the Blmde Pub. Co., Worden Printing Co. <br />Fla~g & Campbell of the Register Pub. Co., were on motion duly <br /> and Tubbs <br /> <br />seconded and carried, referred to Trustees Greenleaf <br />a committee for investigation and comparison. <br /> <br /> protest signed by property ~wnere on Orange Ave., <br /> <br /> between <br /> <br />0hestnut Ave., and South line of Bishop St., against paving said <br />portion of Street under Specifications No.82, was read and on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, <br />ordered placed on file. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded amd carried, the <br />Clerk was ordered to draw warrants un the City Treasurer to cover <br />de~e 1 to 226 inclusive, <br /> <br /> The monthly report Of Building Inspector, F~ e Chief, Recorder <br /> and City Marshal were upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly <br /> seconded by MoPhee and carried, accepted and ordered placed on <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the <br /> Street Supt. was instructed to prepare Pine St., from Baker to <br /> Flower for gravel, said portion of Street tS be brought to <br /> proper grade. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, Street <br />Supt. OBrien was instructed to raise the grade on West Chestnut <br />by grading from BaAer to Flower. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> A.C. Forbes President of E1 CaminoReal Assooi&tion, wu before <br /> the Board asking that the City purchase two bells, upon motion <br /> of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, two bell were <br /> ordered purchased &t $37.50 each to be paid out of the Advertising <br /> Fund, one to be pla~ed &t the North City Limits and cnw &t the <br /> East City Limits. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf ~nd <br /> carried, Street Supt.
