Guthrie In Re Assessed Valuation In Re Jitney Bonds In Re Bond, R.E.W&tts and Merit Jackson In Be Bids for City Printing & Advertising On motion of Trustee Tubhe, carried, Minutes duly seconded by MoPhee and Trustee Maryatt was appointed President pro rem. of July l?th, ~th and ~let read and Minutes of July ~4th amended in reference to closing East ~rd St., The application of Andres Lu~a for · Junk dealer's wagon license was denied upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and o~rried. A communication from Wm. Guthrie, · San Bernardino Attorney in reference to money being due this City from the County under Article 13 of the State Constitution and of Acts of the Legislature, stating that he was willing to bring suit upon a contingent basis, was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, referred to the City Attorney to report later. A notice from W.C.Jerome, County Auditor certifying that the total amount of non-operative property assessed value for Santa Aha City 1916-17 to be $6, 786,~60, same was on Mtion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tuhbe and carried, ordered filed. A notice from the Casualty Co. of A~eric& cancelling all bonds given as surety by e·id Company on Auto for Hire care, cancellation being effective Aug. ~th, 1916, was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and carr'led, ordered filed. The bond of R.E.Watts for $~50.O0 with the Globe Indem- nity Co. as surety, and the bond of W.M.Jaokson, Flre chief for $1000.OO with the N·tional Surety Co., as sureties, were on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tuhb~ and carried, were referred to the Chair~ for aPproval. Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by McOhee and carried, the Clerk was instructed to open the bide received for the City printing sad advertising, the follow lng bide were received for advertising.
