Oal. Idisen Co., asking for <br />an agreement with the Oity to permit them the right to <br />ground the transformer wires by attaching same to the <br />City water mains, was read, and on motion of Trustee <br />Tubbs, that same be referred to two members of the Board <br />and the Water Supt., was duly seconded and carried. <br /> <br />The President appointed Trastees Greenleaf and McPhee <br />and Water Supt.Reid. <br /> <br />The application of Frank Sawyer for the position of <br />Motor Cop was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded <br />by Greenleaf and carried, ordered received and placed <br />on file. <br /> <br />The applications of 1.211iott, Claude Grigsby,O.C.Frace, <br />and R.B. Cookson, accompanied by bonds of $10~.000 each, <br />with the Pacific Coast Casualty Oo.,as sureties, for <br />Jitney licenses was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />seconded by Greenleaf and carried, license granted and <br />bends referred to the President for approval. <br /> <br />A petition signed by the majority of the property owners <br />on Orchard St., between Ross and Patton, to have same <br />oiled and graveled, property owners to pay for material <br />city to spread and roll same, was on motion of Trustee <br />Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, granted. <br />Property not signed to be put under Vrooman Act proceed- <br />ings. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee T~bbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br /> carried, the petitions of the property owners on Lacy an¢ <br /> Stafford ets., to have same oiled and gravelled, was <br /> r~ferred back to the petitioners for more signatures. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenlea <br />and carried, the Street ~upt. is instructed to have about <br />75 loads of gravel hauled on Zest Washington Ave. between <br />the Santa Fe Tracks and Grand Ave. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatl <br />and carried, the Street Supt. is authorized to spend $500 <br />for gravel in repairing of streets, gravel not to exceed <br />$1.00 per Icad, City to pay for ~: the work on 2ast <br />Washington Ave., and North Bristol Bt., to be included <br />in the amount. <br /> <br /> <br />
