Board met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order hy President Visel. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees Tubbs, Greenleaf, Maryatt, <br />Absent, Trustee MoPhee. <br /> <br />City Hall, Santa Aha, Cal. <br /> <br /> Sept, 5th, 1916, Y;30 p.m. <br /> <br />Vieel a~d the Clerk. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />~lnutes <br /> <br />Minutes of Aug. 21et and 2$th, read and approved. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition for Light <br /> <br />6th and Flower Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition pavement on )~ortimer St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Warrants <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resolution Amending <br /> <br />Specifications No.82 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to pave Orange Ave. <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners on 6th for a light <br />mt or near the corner of 6th and Flower Sts., was read <br />and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and carried, referred to Trustee Greenleaf. <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners on Mortimer St. <br />between Fruit and Stafford Sts. to have said portion of <br />street improved under Specifications No.~2 was re~d~.a~d <br />upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe <br />and carried, was referred to the Street Committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The monthly reports of City Recorder, Building Inspector, <br />Fire Chief and Marshal were on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, <br />duly seconded by Maryatt, and carried, accepted and <br />ordered placed on file. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Ayes, <br /> <br />Noes, <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant <br />on the City Treasurer to cover the demands No.233 to <br />406 inclusive. <br /> <br /> A Resolution amending ~peoifioatione No.$2 pertaining to <br /> street improvement, pused and adopted on the 5th day <br /> of June, 1916, was read, and on motion of Trustee Green- <br /> leaf, duly seconded by Maryatt, adopted by the following <br /> vote to-wit: <br /> <br /> Trustees Tubbe, Greenleaf, Maryatt and Vleel. <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br />A petition signed by property owners on Orange Ave. from <br />the South line of Chestnut Ave., to the South line of <br />Bishop St., to have eald portion of street paved with a <br /> <br />~ inch concrete base and & 1~ inch asphaltic concrete <br />wearing surface, was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, <br />duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, that same be referred <br />to a committee. <br /> <br />President Visel appointed Trustees Tubbe,MoBhee,Street Supt. <br />and City Engineer as such committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
