In Re <br /> <br />Petition to gravel West Chestnut <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resolution for gravelling <br /> <br />Pine and Chestnut Sts, <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Or~nWe Ave. Paving <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Donation for Eentertainment <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Protection to end of paved streets <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />School Auto Hire <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Safety <br /> <br />sign Broadway <br /> <br />~.Sant a Clara <br /> <br />.In Re <br /> <br /> Permit Democratic CentralCo~nittee <br /> <br />A petition asking permission to gravel West Chestnut <br />from Flower to Baker, property owners to pay for gravel <br />City to grade, spread and roll same, was on motion of <br />Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Mayatt and carried, <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and carried, City Attorney Scott was instructed to <br />prepare a Resolution for the gravelling of both Pine <br /> <br />and Chestnut sam. from Flower <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, <br /> <br />to Ba~er. <br /> <br />duly seconded and carrie <br /> <br />by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee <br />Greenleaf, and Visel, Noes, Trustees Maryatt, <br />petition to pave Orange Ave. from Chestnut to South lin <br />of Bishop, with a 4 inch concrete base and asphaltum <br />wearing surface, was tabled, <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and passed by the following vote to-wit: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, MoPhee, Mary&at, Visel <br /> <br />Noes, Trustee Greenleaf, <br /> <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant on the <br />advertising fund for $~0.00 payable to the Entertain- <br />ment Committee of the Convention to be held Sept.19th <br />to 26th inclusive. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried <br /> the kind of protection needed for ends of streets that <br /> have been paved, was left to the Judgment of Street <br /> Supt. OBrien. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, <br /> the Clerk was instructed not to charge a license on <br /> autos from out of town districts bringing school child- <br /> ren into the Santa A~ school district. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carrie <br /> Street Supt. OBrien was instructed to place a safety <br /> sign at the intersection of Broadway & Santa Clara . <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt <br /> and carried, the Democratic County Central Committee <br /> was granted permission to use the Council Chamber 8epa. <br /> 30th, <br /> <br /> <br />
