<br />a. The "occurrence" which caused the "bodily injury" or "property damage";
<br />b. The offense which caused the "personal and advertising injury"; or
<br />c. Any injury or damage, liability, loss, cost or expense whatsoever;
<br />involved that which is described in paragraphs A. 1. through A.3. above.
<br />B. The following definition is added to the DEFINITIONS section:
<br />1. "PFC/PFAS means perfluorinated compounds (PFC) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances
<br />(PFAS), including but not limited to:
<br />Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), perfluorononanoic acid
<br />(PFNA), perfluorobutyric acid (PFBA), perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS),
<br />perfluoropentanoic acid (PFPeA), perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS), GenX, C8
<br />(perfluorinated carboxylic acid), ADONA, perfluorohexanoic acid (PFHxA),perfluoroheptanoic
<br />acid (PFHpA), perfluorooctane sulfonamide (PFSOA), perfluorodecanoic acid, (PFDA),
<br />perfluorodecane sulfonate (PFDS), perfluoroundecanoic acid (PFUnA), perfluorododecanoic
<br />acid (PFDoA), perfluorotridecanoic acid (PFTrDA), perfluorotetradecanoic acid (PFTeDA), or
<br />6:2 fluorotelomer sulfonate (6:2 FTS) or any associated salts, acides, alcohols, precursor
<br />chemicals, or related higher homologue chemicals;
<br />b. Any fluorinated polymers, including but not limited to fluoropolymers, perfluoropolyethers, and
<br />side -chain -fluorinated polymers;
<br />c. Any and all biosolid, replacement PFAS substance, material or product; or
<br />d. Any substance, material or compound that is identified or acknowledged by any federal,
<br />state, international or other governmental agency or authority, including but not limited to the
<br />United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Centers for Disease Control and
<br />Prevention (CDC), the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), the
<br />National Institutes for Health (NIH), and the International Agency for Research on Cancer
<br />(IARC):
<br />1. As or to contain a per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance; or
<br />2. To exhibitor demonstrate the same or similar harmful properties as a per- and
<br />polyfluoroalkyl substance
<br />The addition of this endorsement does not imply that other policy provisions, including but not limited to
<br />any pollution exclusion, do not exclude coverage for PFC-related or PFAS-related damages, expense,
<br />loss, demand, claim, liability or legal obligation.
<br />All other terms and conditions of the policy remain unchanged.
