A communication from the Cope Electric Co.,in reference to recommending that the Electric Inspection department be declared vacant and a committee be appointed to investigate the matter of electrical inspection, was on motion of Trustee McPhee that the City Electrician's opinion be sustained, was duly seconded by Maryatt and carried. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by ~aryatt and carried, the matter of P.E. Ry. charging extra fares inside City Limits on tickets to Los Angeles was the Chamber of Commerce and ~.& M. Association. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Naryatt and carried, the resignation of Theo. Lacy Sr., as Pound Master was accepted. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, J.A. Benjamin was appointed Pound Master to succeed Theo.Lacy, Sr. resigned. On motion of Trustee McPhee that a committee be appointed in reference to purchasing the necessary signs needed fo:' pcsting the speed regulation in passing schools was duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, Trustees Maryatt~ and Green- leaf were appointed as such committee.
