Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee,Greenleaf, Maryatt, Vlsel Minutes of March 19th read and approved. Santa Aha, Cal. Itinerant ~' ~ , .erv.~nt O£din~nce In ~e C9~ Drdinance The request of Wells & Bressler for permission to resume construction work of paving on Orange Ave., on West 5th St. was granted, on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried. The monthly reports of the Clerk, Marshal, Recorder,Fire Chief and Building Inspector,were on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, referred to Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, all proceedings on Parton St. paving from Hlckey to Washington were stopped and City Engineer Bonebrake instructed to check the frontage signed for same. The petition of property owners on Maple from First to Chestnut and Walnut from Orange to Oak for paving under Specifications ~0 was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbe and McPhee being appointed aa such committee. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the petition of property owners along the North City limits West of Flower St.,for the opening of a driveway was referred to the City Attorney to look up records as to road reservations alongthe City limits for road purposes. An Ordinance defining transient or itinerant merchants and repealing Ordinances in conflict therewith, was given final reading, and on motion of Trustee NcPhee, that same be adopted, was duly seconded by Maryatt and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,McPhee,Maryatt and Visel, Noes, Trustees None, Not voting, Trustee Zreenleaf. ~n Ordinance amending Ordinance 426 of the City of Santa Ana pertaining to the regulation of plumbing and adding a new section thereto to be known as Section 14~ pertaining to the ventilation of gas heaters, was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, referred to the City Attorney for amendments.
