Street Llght,3rd & Hathaway In Re Center suspension St.llghts In Re grounding transformers In Re Curb,Orange & Bishop Sts. ~n motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, a 60 Watt center suspension street light is ordered installed at 3rd and Hathaway ets. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, a.I1 street lights that are ordered installed in the future~to be hung center suspension. The request of the Southern Cai.Edison CO., in reference to making an agreement with the City granting them the privilege of grounding tranl~$~maere to the City water maine according specifications on file with Water Supt.Reid, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, the request was granted and the President of the B%ard authorized to sign such an agreement. The motion of Trustee Maryatt that the curbing already in- stalled at the corner of Orange Ave. and Bishop St., On the East side of street be left aa installed, and City Engineer to make notations of ~ on his records was duly seconded by Tubbs and carried. In Re On motion of Trustee Maryatt, that a committee be appointed Sidewalk,Orange Ave.below Bishop in reference to the needs of a sidewalk on Orange Ave. In Re Irrigation water,E.Santa Clara In Re Insurance, City emplcyees In Re Re-imbursement Police officer Smithwick In Re to Rescind action in reference to payment of Employees City bwlow Bishop St., was duly seconded and carried. The President appointing Trustees Maryatt and Greenleaf aa such committee. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, the nuisance of irrigation waste water being left on East Santa Clara Ave., near Yung's winery was referred to the Street committee. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, and passed by the following vot~ to-wit:- Trustees Tubbs,McPhee, Gresnleaf, Maryatt and Vis~ Noes, Trustees none, it was decided to cancel the insurance with the ~tate Compensation Insurance Fund on the ground of being unsatisfactory. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, Police officer Smithwick was granted 1~ days pay for sick- ness in May, same having Deen deducted from May warrant. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs the action taken Nov.2Oth, l~16, in reference to raising all Street and Water employees receiving $2.~ per day, to $2.~0 per day, is hereby res- oinded, and a committee to be appointed to revise the pay roll of above departments, wa~ passed by the following vote to-wit:Ayes,Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Creenleaf, and Vissl.
