Broadway <br /> <br />In Re <br />Details of <br />Bridges <br /> <br />In Re <br />P.E.Pavement <br />E.Fgurth St. <br /> <br />The monthly reports of the Building Inspector, Marshall, Recorder <br />and MarketMamter were read, and on motion duly seconded and carried <br />ordered placed on file. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Oreenleaf and carried <br />the Clerk was ordered to draw & warrant on the Municipal Market <br /> <br />Fund in favor of 0eorge Ba/derston for $]?.50, amount of fees <br />collected by him, as market master for May and June, l~l?. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded and carried, drivers of <br />the Fire Department and Police Officers, are each granted two <br />weeks vacation, one member from each department at & time, until <br />list has been completed, arrangement of same being left to the <br />Fire Chief and Marshall. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubb8 and carried <br />condition of the pavement on W. Tenth Street was referred to & <br />committee, President Visel appointing Trustees ~reenle~f and Tubbe <br />as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, <br />Trustee Mary&tt was appointed chairman of committee to investigate <br />conditions for securing right of way for the continuance of Broadway <br />north to Chapman Street. President Vlsel appointing Trustees <br />Maryatt, ~reenleaf and City Engineer Bonebrake as such committee. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly eoconded by Tubbs and carried, <br /> City Engineer Bonebrake was instructed to submit to the Board, deta~ <br /> for advertising for competitive plans and estimate of cost for <br /> <br />North Main St. Bridge, of reinforced concrete, arch or girder type <br />threo or four spans, 200 ft. long, 50 ft. wide including 5 ft.walks <br />on each side. and to be equipped with ornamental lights, and carry <br />a single track line of the P.E.Rallway. Estimate of cost to include <br />total cost and port,on to be borne by the P.E.Rallway <br /> <br />The N. Flower St. bridge to be combination timber and steel, on <br />concrete foundation, 20 ft. wide and 120 ft. long, to use the material <br />of the present N. Main St. bridge aa far as possible in the construct- <br />ion of the same. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried <br />the offer of the P.E.Ry. Co. to pave their right of way on E. Fourth <br />St. from the Santa Fe tracks to th~ City limits, with the oeme <br />class of pavement as used b7 them o~ Pasadena streets, was accepted. <br /> <br /> <br />
