Co. franchise tax, due the City under Franchise <br />Ordinance No.351, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, <br />duly seconded by Maryatt, accepted. <br /> <br />A communication from A.S.Ralph, Secretary of the Auto Club <br />of Orange County, calling the Board's attention to the <br />dangerous Santa Fe Railroad crossing on the East side of <br />Santa Clara Ave., was read and on motion of Trustee McPhee <br />duly seconded by Tubbe that the above crossing, also the <br />one on East l?th and the $.P. crossing on East Washington <br />Ave. be referred to a committee to report at next meeting. <br />Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf being appointed as such <br />committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconAed by Gree~leaf, <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrant on the Treasurer <br />to the amount of $212.38, County Taxes due at this time. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br />the Maglll-Finley Co. <br /> <br />Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />were granted permission to enter <br /> <br /> upon E.4th St. in order to pave the P.E.R/W strip from <br /> the Santa Fe Ry. to the City Limits according to the <br /> specifications of the Orange County Highway Commission, <br /> work to begin within five days from date. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, <br />the Maglll-Finley Co. are not required to put on the 3/g" <br /> <br /> surface coat in paving the P.E.Ry. R/W until a later <br />date, same to be surfaced du~ing warm weather. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, <br />the cost of inspecting the pavement O~ East 4th ~t. to <br />be paid by the City. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf, <br />that the President appoint a committee to investigate <br />sidewalk conditions on Highland and Richland Sts. and <br />report at next meeting. President Visel appointing Trus- <br /> <br />tee McPhee as such committee. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Greenleaf that Trustee Mo~hee be <br />appointed a committee of one with power to act in referen~ <br /> <br /> <br />
