In Re Committee on opening ~alnut and ?arton ~ts. in Re State Comyensstion Insurance In Re Test 4th ~t. sewer connections In Re Committee on opening Cubbon St. in Re COmmittee report,Broadwa~ opening in Re Cum Trees at sewer farm In He Bristol St. paving specifications in Re Profile and Cross-section Paving Bristol St. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf, were ~dded to the oommitte, appointed at last meeting in reference to investigating conditions for widening Walnut Street its ~full width from Patton to Flower and opening Patton Street from First to Camile. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Board is to meet as a committee of the whole, Satur- day Feb. 2nd, at 2 p.m. for the purpose of taking up the matter of insurance for the city employees with the State Compensation Insurance Fund. On motion of Trustee McPhee.duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, it was decided that the City would pay the cost of making sewer connections on that portion of West 4th St. necessary for the completion of the paving there- on. On motion duly seconded and carried, the committee appointed at laat meeting for investigating conditions for opening Cubbon St. from Main to Orange were granted further time in making a report. The verbal report of Trustee Maryatt who was appointed a committee of one for investigating condition for open- ing Broadway through from Santa Clara to Chapman Ave. was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, leaf, and carried, accepted. The motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Green- duly seconded by Maryat~ and carried that the President appoint a committee with Water Supt. Reid as one of the committee in reference to having the gum trees on the sewer rs_tm cut down, Trustees Greenleaf and Maryatt and Water Supt. Reid were appoints as such committee. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried by the following vote, Ayes,Trustees Tubbs,McPhee, Gresnleaf.Maryatt, and Visel, Noes, Trustees None, it was resolved that Specifications No.S5 should govern the clas of pPvement to be constructed on Bristol St. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee, Resolution N0.%95 adopting plans, profiles and cross-sec- tions for paving Bristol Street from 5th St.on the North to the City Limits on the South, was adopted by the follc ing vote, Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,McPhee,Greenleaf,Maryatt and Visel, Noes, Trustees None.
