City Hall, Ja~. Board met in. regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf,Maryatt, Visel In ~e Permission gr~nted Foster ~ Prather in Re Resolution No. X94, BriJge matters ~n ~e Communication from C. o~ C. Santa Ana, Cal. 2g,191g, 7;30 p.m. and the Cl~rk. In the matter of the application of Mtllard Foster and Scott Prather for permission to operate an auto stage line between this City and Tuetin, same was granted permission and the application ordered filed on motion o£ Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee and carried. Resolution No.594 entitled as follows: "A Resolution of the City of Santa Ana, a muni- cipal corporation, incorporated under the laws of the State of California, by the legislative branch of said City, declaring that the public interest and also the public necessity demands the acquisition and construc- tion of certain municipal improvements in the City of Santa Aha, consisting of two bridges erected over and extending across that certain water course known,as, named and called Santiago Creek; And that the said bridges are necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of the City of Santa Aha, the cost of which will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of the said municipal 1 tM." having bee~put in proper form for final consideration by the Board of Trustees, was taken up, read and con- sidered, and on motion of Trustee Walter A. Greenlea£, seconded by Trustee J.W.Tubbs, and carried, the Reso- lution was placed upon final passage and adoption. The roll was called and Resolution No. 594 passed and adopted by the following named members of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana: Ayes, Trustees J.W. Tubbs, Geo. MoPhee, Walter A. Green leaf, A.J.Visel, Noes, Trustees None. Not voting, Trustee O.H.Naryatt. Absent, Trustees None. Resolution No. Xg$ having been duly passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than two thirds c£ all the members of said Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, the same was thereupon signed and approved by A.J.Visel,President of of the City of Santa Ans. A communication from the Chamber the Board of Trustee of Commerce in refer- ence to a Resolution passed by the directors requesting this Board to widen Walnut St.between Patton and Flower and that Par~on St. be opened South to Camile was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, ordered received and filed.
