271 Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees Tubbs,~cPhee,Greenleaf,Maryatt, Santa Aha, City Hall, March 11, 191~, Visel and the Clerk. 7;30 p.m. In Re Permit J.A.Holland In Re Condition of McOlay St. In Re Supervisors Report on Motor Vehicle Fines In Re Application to close alley In Re Appointment fire truck driver In Re ChAbbon St. opening The application of J.A.Holland for a permit to erect a gasoline filling station at the Northeast corner of Fifth and Pacific Ave., was granted on motion of Trustee McPhee seconded by Trustee Tubbs, and carried. A communication signed by ten property owners on MoClay St. calling the Board's attention to the condition of a portion of MoOlay St. running from First to McFadden, was read, and on motion of Trustee McPhes, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, same was referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbs and McPhee, being appointed as such committee. # A certified copy from N.T.Edwards ex-Officio Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, in the matter ~f division of the moneys received from municipalities for fines and fsrfeiture through violations of the Motor Vehicle Law and deposited with the County Treasurer. That the money now in the County Treasury arising from collection of fines and for- feitures for violation of the Motor Vehicle Act of 1917, shall be divided among the respective municipalities of the County, according to their population, baaed upon the oensu~ of 1910, and that it is the intention of the Board of Super- visors to apportion said money now in the County Treasury arising from such fines and forfeitures under the Motor Veh- icle Act of 1915, in proportion to the amount of money dopes ired in the County Treas~xy by each respective City, shall the amount apportioned. The report was on motion of Trust Greenleaf, seconded by Trustee Tubbs and duly carried, mote and placed on file. # The application of Wells & Bressler for permission to close the first alley East of Bush St. on North side of loth St. was on motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, ordered filed. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, J.E. Wlnn was appointed as one of the fire truck drivers in the Fire Dept., J.T. Lacy having resigned. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the committee on investigating conditions for opening Cubbon St. from Main to Orange Ave. was granted further time in making a report. ed
