271 <br /> <br />Board met in regular adjourned session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President Visel. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees Tubbs,~cPhee,Greenleaf,Maryatt, <br /> <br />Santa Aha, City Hall, <br /> March 11, 191~, <br /> <br />Visel and the Clerk. <br /> <br />7;30 p.m. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit J.A.Holland <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Condition of McOlay St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Supervisors Report on Motor <br /> <br />Vehicle Fines <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application to close alley <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Appointment fire truck driver <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />ChAbbon St. opening <br /> <br /> The application of J.A.Holland for a permit to erect a <br /> gasoline filling station at the Northeast corner of Fifth <br /> and Pacific Ave., was granted on motion of Trustee McPhee <br /> seconded by Trustee Tubbs, and carried. <br /> <br /> A communication signed by ten property owners on MoClay St. <br /> calling the Board's attention to the condition of a portion <br /> of MoOlay St. running from First to McFadden, was read, and <br /> on motion of Trustee McPhes, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> carried, same was referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbs <br /> and McPhee, being appointed as such committee. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />A certified copy from N.T.Edwards ex-Officio Clerk of the <br />Board of Supervisors, in the matter ~f division of the <br />moneys received from municipalities for fines and fsrfeiture <br />through violations of the Motor Vehicle Law and deposited <br />with the County Treasurer. That the money now in the <br />County Treasury arising from collection of fines and for- <br />feitures for violation of the Motor Vehicle Act of 1917, <br />shall be divided among the respective municipalities of the <br />County, according to their population, baaed upon the oensu~ <br />of 1910, and that it is the intention of the Board of Super- <br />visors to apportion said money now in the County Treasury <br />arising from such fines and forfeitures under the Motor Veh- <br />icle Act of 1915, in proportion to the amount of money dopes <br />ired in the County Treas~xy by each respective City, shall <br />the amount apportioned. The report was on motion of Trust <br />Greenleaf, seconded by Trustee Tubbs and duly carried, mote <br />and placed on file. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The application of Wells & Bressler for permission to close <br />the first alley East of Bush St. on North side of loth St. <br />was on motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, ordered filed. <br /> <br />On motion of <br /> <br /> Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, J.E. Wlnn was appointed as one of the fire truck <br />drivers in the Fire Dept., J.T. Lacy having resigned. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, the committee on investigating conditions for <br />opening Cubbon St. from Main to Orange Ave. was granted <br />further time in making a report. <br /> <br />ed <br /> <br /> <br />
