Inspector <br />Fire Chief and Marshal, were on motion of Trustee Green- <br />leaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, referred to <br />the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> A communication from the Chamber of Commerce asking the <br /> Board to turn over to the Chamber of Oommerce such part of <br /> the advextlsing Fund as advisable under the provisions of <br /> Ordinance No.557, on motion of Trustee Tubb$,duly seconded <br /> by McPhee and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a <br /> warrant fox $400.00 Out of the advertising Fund. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br /> passed by the following vote,Ayes,Trustees Tubbe,Mo~hee, <br /> Greenleaf,Maryatt, and Vieel, Noes, Trustees None, <br /> the Clerk was instructed..tO draw a warrant out of the <br /> General Fund for $100.00 as a donation towards the Patrio- <br /> tic parade to be held Saturday, April 6th,191~. <br /> <br /> Oh motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br /> carried, Street Supt.OBrien was granted permission to use <br /> several men and all the flags the city had on hand for <br /> decorating streets for the patriotic parade April 6th,191~. <br /> and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt <br /> and carried, the Decorating committee was granted authority <br /> to expend any reasonable amount of funds deemed necessary <br /> in decorating the streets for the above parade. <br /> <br /> ~nd on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee and <br /> carried, Trustee Maryatt was appointed a committee of one <br /> to secure and have decolated an auto for the use of the <br /> Board in eea~h above parade. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenle~f and <br /> carried, Police Officer Sid Smithwick was granted leave of <br /> absence during the remainder of the war. <br /> <br /> <br />
