In Re Appolntment,L.C.Rogers,Pollceman In Re Transfer of Funds In Re Driveway, 6th & Broadway In Re Street lights,6th bet.Olive &Shelton carried, On motion cf Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, L.C.Rogere was appointed a police officer appointment to take effect at once and to serve at the pleasure of the Board. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Clerk was instructed to transfer the $5000.00 from the Street Fund back to the special property tax Fund. On motion duly seconded and carried, that a committee be appointed in reference to investigating the request of the Tricksy Supply Station 6th and Broadway,for permission to lay a pipe covered with concrete for the driveway at their place of business,President Visel appointing Trustees Greenleaf and Maryatt aa such com- mittee. On motion of Trustee McPhee,duly seconded by Tubbs and the Southern Cai.Edison Co. were instructed to install two street lights on 6th between 0live & Shelto~.. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Orange Co.Engineering & Construction Co. were granted permission to pave the first alley East of Main St. from let to Walnut according to the petition presented by property owners at last meeting, with the proviso that proper drainage be made at South end of same according to the plans of the Street Supt. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, the Orange Co. Engineering & Const.Co. were granted an extension of further time of 15 days from the expiration:. of the last extension of time granted. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe that a committee be appointed to investigate the cause of irrigation water on 5th and Baker Sts. President Visel appointing Trustees Greenleaf and Street Supt. OBrien as such committee. On motion of Trustee MoPhee,duly seconded by Maryatt, F.H.Teel was granted permission to remove several trees in front of his residence 1023 W.Bishop. The motion of Trustee Tubbs,that a committee be appoint ed in reference to investigating the time of turning off certain street lights during the new daylight time schedule was duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee being appointed as such commilltee.
