Santa Ana, Cal. City Hall, April 22, 1918, 7;30 p.m. Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by President Vieel. Present, Trustees Tubbe,McPhee,Greenleaf,Maryatt, Vlsel and the Clerk. In Re Canvass Bond Election This being the first Monday and the regularly adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, next succeeding the date of the holding of the Special election at and within said City on the 15th day of April 191g, and all of the returns of the said Special election having been duly made,returned to and now in the possession of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, it wa~ movedtb~ mx Trustee J.W. Tubbe, duly seconds by Trustee Geo. McPhee aud carried, that the Board as a committee of the whole canvaaa such election returns. The Board of Trustees directed aHmk the returns to be opened and proceeded to canvass said returns; the return having been duly and regularly canvassed by the Board o Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, the said Board finds and orders it to be here established of record, (1) That there was submitted to the qualified voters of the City of Santa Aha at the Special Election held therein on the 15th day of April,1916, two propositions aa follows: Proposition No.1, Shall the City of Santa Aha incur a bonded Aebt in the sum of $35,500.00 for the purpose of acquiring and constructing a municipal improvement in said City, to-wit: a bridge over and extending across Santiago Ores atthe place where Santiago Creek intersectsNorth Main Street in the City of Santa Ans. Proposition No.2, Shall the City of Santa Aha incur a bonded debt in the sum of $7,700 for the purpose of acquiring and constructing a municipal improvement in said City, to-wit: a bridge over and extending across Santiago Creek at the place where said Santiago Creek intersects North Flower Street in the. City of Santa Aha. That for the purposes of said Special Election the voting precincts of the City of Santa Ana had been and were consolidated into twelve special election precinct, the votes cast in each of meld special election precin- cts were canvassed separately. In Special Election Precinct No.1, on Proposition No.1 213 votes were cast "YES", and 32 votes were cast "NO" In Special Election Precinct No.1, on Proposition No.2 211 votes were cast 'YES", and 28 votes were cast ~NO" In Special Election Precinct No.2,on Proposition No.1 62 votes were cast "YES" and 40 votes were cast "NO" In Special Election Precinct No.2,on Proposition No.2 65 votes were cast "YES" and 32 votes were cast "NO" InSpeotal Election Precinct No.3,on Proposition No.1 120 votes were cast,YES, and 39 were cast 'NO"
