On motion of Trustee Tubbs, President pro tem. in regular adjourned session. by the Clerk. McPhee, Greenleaf, and Maryat t. duly seconded by Greenleaf, Trustee Maryatt, was apoointed in Re P.E. franchise tax In He Permit tc hang sign In Re Hanging of Electric signs in Re Herman Novach license In Re Irrigation water on Baker St. in Re Resolution to call bond election A statement from the P.E. Ry,Co. accompanied by a voucher for $1gg.59, franchise tax, account of Ordinance No.414, for year ending Jan. 2nd,1915, wa~ on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, same was accepted. The application of the Cope Electr~c. Co., for permission to hang an electric sign for th~Nash garage, 424 W. 4th St., same was granted on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded, by Greenleaf, subject to the Ordinance and al of the City Electrician. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by McPhee, that in the future any electrical company installing an electric sign without first securing permission from the in Re Legal proce~3ings Board, be fined according to On motion of Trustee McPhee, the Ordinance. duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Marshal w&a instructed, to see that Herman Novach discontinued his bicycle business at 626 N.Main St. and the Clerk instructed not to issue any license to him or any one connected with the same. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, that a committee be appoin ed to investigate the running of lrrigation w~ter on North Baker St., was duly seconded by Tubbs, the Chair appointin Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs as such committee. following motion was made by Trustee McPhee, that it ~s the w~h of this Board that bonds of the City of Santa Ana be issued and sold for the acquisition and con- struction of bridges in and for the City of Santa Ana, and that the City Attorney is hereby instructed to start pro- oeedings for that purpose. The above motion was duly seconded by Tubbs and passed by the following vote to-wit:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee,and Greenleaf. Noes, Trustees None, not voting Trustee Naryatt.
