Minutes of May 6th, lSth a~d 14th, Santa Aha, City Hall, May 20th, 191~, ?;30 p.m. Visel, and the Clerk. read and approved. In Re Permit to hang electric sign In Re Demand O.V. Dart In Re Hay Bide In Re Street repaire,Edinger St. In Re Permit Union Oil Co. In Re Sidewalk and curb, Patton St. The application of the Cope Electric Co. for permission to erect an electric sign for Coohems Bakery on East 4th Bt. was granted on motion of Truetee MoPhee, duly leoonded by Maryatt,subJeot to the sign Ordinance and under the supervision of the City Electrician. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and o~rried, the Clerk was inetruoted to dxaw a w~rrant on the Treasurer in favor of O.V.Dart Houeemoving CO. for $20.00, same being for moving shed, etc. on W.First Bt. the Street Supt. # Upon motion of Trustee Oreenleaf, duly eeoonded by M~ryatt and carried, the Clerk was instructed to open bide received for furnishing the Street Dept. hay for the oomin year; the following bide were opene~: Nloolaa-Loomis CO. of Loe Angeles, 100 tons of local Perrie or Corona ~1 barl hay, $24.50 f.o.b, oars Santa Ans. 100 tone ~1 e/faO, fa hay, local,Perris or Corona at $24.00 f.o.b, oars,Santa Arthur H.Pease Co. bid as followe:%1 Alfalfa hay, f.o.b. Santa Ana, per ton $24.00. No.1 barley hay f.o.b. Banta Aha, S2 . 50. Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf that the bids received, be referred to a committee. Trustees Greenleaf and MoPhee, being appointed as such oommittee. Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee,duly leoonded by Greenleaf and carried, Street Supt. O'Brien was instructed to repair that portion of Edinger St. that lies within the City Limi' by grading, rolling and using a very small amount of road oil. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, the request of the Union Oil Co. to install a filling station at the Southeast corner of Fifth and Syca- more sas. was granted, subject to the Bldg. and Fire ordi- nances. On motion of Truetee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf an, carried, ~ foot sidewalk and curb was ordered in on the East side of Parton St., b~tween First and Walnut Sas. and the Clerk instructed to notify Royal J.Sweet to that effect.
