Board met in regular adjourned eession. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Preeent, Trustees Tubbe, Absent, President Visel. In Re President pro rem. In Re Awarding bridge contract In Re Lea~e of right of-way North Main St. by-pass By-pass N.Main St. bridge In Re Right of way, S.E. St. bridge side N.Main In Re Water, Sewer and Gas N.Main St. City Hall, Santa Aha, Cal. June lOth,191~, 7;30 p.m. MoPhee,Greenleaf,and Maryatt. On motion of Trustee Tubbe,dudy seconded by Greenleaf and carried, Trustee MoPhee was appointed President protem. Trustee MoPhee, Chairman of the Committee of the whole, for investigating the different bids submitted for building North Main and North Flower ate. bridges,reported that the bid of Chris MoNeill for the North Main St. bridge and the bid of Wells and Bresslar for the North Flower St. bridge were the loweet bids received. On motion of Trustee Mary- att, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, Chris MoNeill awarded the contract for building North Main St. bridge · ccording to the bids submitted by him. And Wells and Breseler awarded the contract for building North Flower St. bridge according to bid submitted by them, and the City Attorney was instructed to d~aw up the necessary agreements with the eucoeesful bidders. On motion of Trustee ~lbhs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Board approves the short route as approved by the City E~gineer for a right-of-way or hy-pa~s in building North Main Bt. bridge and the contract for same, to be signed by the acting President of the Board. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Oreenleaf and carried, Street ~upt.O'Brien was in~truoted to ma~e the necessary improvements for a by-pass on the EaSt side of bridge as outlined by the City Engineer. On motion of Trustee ~ubbs; d~zly.~a~oonded by Maryatt, and carried, Trustee MoPhee, acting Preeident of the Board was authorized to secure from the Pacific Electric Ry. the necessary right-of-way for a by-pass on the Southeast side Bf North Main St. bridge. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly seconded by Tubbs amd o~rried, Water Supt. Reid was authorized with power to act in making temporary arrangements necessary ~o.r taking care of the water and eewer pipe lines a~rose the old bridge on North Main Bt.and the City Attorney instructed to notify the Southern Counties Gas Co. to take care of its gas line while new bridge is being built.
