Board met in regular adjourned eession. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the Clerk. <br /> <br />Preeent, Trustees Tubbe, <br /> <br />Absent, President Visel. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />President pro rem. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Awarding bridge contract <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Lea~e of right of-way North <br /> <br />Main St. by-pass <br /> <br />By-pass N.Main St. bridge <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Right of way, S.E. <br /> <br />St. bridge <br /> <br />side N.Main <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Water, Sewer and Gas N.Main St. <br /> <br />City Hall, Santa Aha, Cal. <br /> <br /> June lOth,191~, 7;30 p.m. <br /> <br />MoPhee,Greenleaf,and Maryatt. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe,dudy seconded by Greenleaf <br /> <br />and carried, Trustee MoPhee was appointed President protem. <br /> <br />Trustee MoPhee, Chairman of the Committee of the whole, <br />for investigating the different bids submitted for building <br />North Main and North Flower ate. bridges,reported that the <br />bid of Chris MoNeill for the North Main St. bridge and the <br />bid of Wells and Bresslar for the North Flower St. bridge <br />were the loweet bids received. On motion of Trustee Mary- <br />att, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, Chris MoNeill <br />awarded the contract for building North Main St. bridge <br /> <br /> · ccording to the bids submitted by him. And Wells and <br /> Breseler awarded the contract for building North Flower <br /> <br /> St. bridge according to bid submitted by them, and the City <br /> Attorney was instructed to d~aw up the necessary agreements <br /> with the eucoeesful bidders. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee ~lbhs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br /> carried, the Board approves the short route as approved <br /> by the City E~gineer for a right-of-way or hy-pa~s in <br /> building North Main Bt. bridge and the contract for same, <br /> to be signed by the acting President of the Board. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Oreenleaf <br /> and carried, Street ~upt.O'Brien was in~truoted to ma~e <br /> the necessary improvements for a by-pass on the EaSt side <br /> of bridge as outlined by the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee ~ubbs; d~zly.~a~oonded by Maryatt, <br /> and carried, Trustee MoPhee, acting Preeident of the Board <br /> was authorized to secure from the Pacific Electric Ry. the <br /> necessary right-of-way for a by-pass on the Southeast side <br /> <br />Bf North Main St. bridge. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly <br /> <br />seconded by Tubbs amd <br /> <br />o~rried, Water Supt. Reid was authorized with power to act <br />in making temporary arrangements necessary ~o.r taking care <br />of the water and eewer pipe lines a~rose the old bridge on <br />North Main Bt.and the City Attorney instructed to notify <br />the Southern Counties Gas Co. to take care of its gas line <br />while new bridge is being built. <br /> <br /> <br />
