Baohman <br /> <br />Turner <br /> <br />A.Rubber Co. <br /> <br />zed <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> carried, Trustee MoPhee, acting President of the Board, <br /> was authorized to enter into a contract with Mr.E.T. <br /> Flaherty for the inspection of building N,Main and North <br /> Flower St. bridges according to agreement. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Maryatt and <br /> carried, the French Laundry on East 4th St., was granted <br /> permission to continue b~sineee at its present location <br /> under the management of the Hlro Co. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> carried, the Liberty Loan Honor Flag presented t© the City <br /> by County Ohairman R.L.Bisby for going over the top in the <br /> Third Bond drive, was placed in the hands of the Chairman <br /> and to see that it was properly displayed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seoonde~ by Maryatt and <br /> carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant on the <br /> Treasury for $100.00 in favor of E.M.Baohm&n, some being <br /> for right of way of by-pass on Northeast side of North <br /> Main St. bridge. <br /> <br /> The demand of C.I.P.T~Arner for $1750.00, same beiag <br /> <br /> of $50,O00, by E.T.Flaherty for bridge designs, and <br /> assigned to C.A.P. Turner, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br /> duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, that a warrant to <br /> the amount of the claim be drawn on the Treasurer in favor <br /> of the assignee of Mr. Flaherty and to be delivered to the <br /> assignee upon the execution to the City of a $2000 bond to <br /> indemnify the City and the Clerk for damages. <br /> <br />The request of the Santa Asa Rubber Co. to install a <br />gasoline pump in the curb about 55 ft. West of Birch St. <br />on Fifth St. was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded <br />by Maryatt, referred to a committee for investigation. <br />Trustees Tubbe and Greenleaf being appointed as such com- <br />mittee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, W.J. Cozad was granted permission to install a <br />gasoline tank underground in the curbing and place pump <br />in the store building at 4th and Olive Sts, subject to the <br />approval of the'Fire Chief and Bldg. Inspector. <br /> <br />The sample oars of hay received from the Nioholls-Loomis Co, <br />being satisfactory, it was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, <br />duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, decided to finish the <br />contract with the above firm to furnish the City with 60 T~ <br /> <br /> <br />
