On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Mary·tt and carried, Trustee MoPhee was appointed President pro rem. Committee War Saving. Stamps In Re Petition to ~ave Patton Bt. In Re Petition to p~ve Birch St. In Rs Insurance,Wel~s & Bressler In Re Insurance, Ohrls MoNeill In Re Contract, N.Main St. bridge Minutes of June 3rd and lOth were read and approved. A communication from G.A. Davidson, State Dlerctor of the National War Savings Stamp Committee in reference to issuing a proclamation in the local papers June 2Otb, was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, accepted and ordered placed on file. On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Gresnleaf,the petition from property owners on Parton St. between Hiokey and lOth, asking that said portion of street be improved under Specifications SS, was referred back for more signatu~es. A petition signed by all property owners on Birch et.between 5th and 6th, asking that said portion of st:est be paved under Specifications S2, was granted on motion of Trustee G:eenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried. On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the certificate of John A. McFadden,Agt. for the London Guaranty & Accident Commission, stating that he had issued · public liability policy covering the entire liabil- ity of Wells & Bressler, and that he had ·leo issued an un- limited oompene&tion policy covering the entire liability under the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Insurance & Safety Act of 1917, St·ts of California, for the building of the North Flower St. bridge, and agreed that said policies will not be cancelled without notifying the City in writing at lea~t five days prior to such cancellation becoming effect- lye. # On motion of Trustee Oreenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the certificate of O.M.Robbins & 8on, Agts. for the Globe Indemnity Co. certifying that Chris MoNeill ie assured under poliolesNos. Cal.~lS~O~,Workmens Compensation Insurance, and Policy No.~OS,093, Public Liability Insurance for buildin~ North Main St. bridge, were accepted and ordered placed on file.
