That this proposed work be not ordered done at this time, <br />but that the property ownere interested be hereby notified <br />that the proposed pavement ie considered by this Board ae <br />a public necessity and that it should be undertaken not later <br />than May 15t,1919, and carried forward as speedily as possible <br />to satisfactory completion. That the proposed new pavement <br />both on Main St. and on Fourth St. be constructed with a 5 <br />inch concrete base and at least 1~ inches of asphalt eurface, <br />and that an effort be made to induce the Pacific Electric Ry. <br />Co. to abandon one of its tracks on Main St. and maintain but <br />one track in the center of the street. <br /> Geo. Co. for $1271.90, same being <br />balance ~till due the City ~ their agreement for the con- <br />etructlon of the North Main St. bridge. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Tubbs, that& <br />committee be appointed for the purpose of bettering the <br />Gutter conditions on the South side of 4th St. between Main <br />and Bush Sts.
