Santa Aha, City Hall, <br /> <br /> ~arch 17,1919, 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Board met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President Vieel. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees Tubbe, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and the Clerk. <br />Minutes of Meeting of March 3rd, read and approved. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application pipe line,E.C.Martln <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />D~mping of Rubbish, etc. <br /> <br />Newbert Protection District <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Recommendation Indust~a~al <br /> <br />~anufacturing District <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition extension of sewer line <br /> <br />East First St. <br /> <br /> The application of E.C. Martin for permission to <br /> construct a pips line for irrigation purposes under <br /> McOlay St. at its intersection with Chestnut Ave. <br /> was granted on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly <br /> seconded by Tubbe and carried. <br /> <br /> A communication from Clyde Bishop for the Newbert <br /> Protection District informing the Board that the <br /> dumping of rubbish and trash on the right of way of <br /> the Newbert Protection district was not being pureu, <br /> as understood and s~eed upon, and asking that a <br /> committee be appointed to take up this matter. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryat' <br /> that such a committee be appointed, President Vlsel <br /> made the following appointment, Trustees McPhee and <br /> Tubbe and Sanitary Inspector Chandler. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> A communication from the Chamber Of Commerce of the <br /> Advisory Committee recommending that an industrial <br /> and manufacturing district be established at an earl <br /> date, amggssting the territory between the Salt Lak~ <br /> right of way and the Santa Fe Tracks, and such <br /> additional strip of land on the East side of the <br /> Santa Fe tracks as may hereafter be determined. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br /> Maryatt, that the committee appointed some time ago <br /> in reference to securing an industrial district be <br /> discharged, carried, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs <br /> duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, that the <br /> territory recommended by the Chamber of Commerce be <br /> placed on file to be taken up by the new Board of <br /> City Trustees. <br /> <br />The petition of Charles Kauffman and eons for an <br />extension of its sewer on East First St. On motion <br />of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by MoPhee and <br />carried, Supt. of Sewers Wray was instructed to make <br />the necessary extension. <br /> <br /> <br />
