Santa Aha, City Hall, ~arch 17,1919, 7:30 p.m. The Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Vieel. Present, Trustees Tubbe, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and the Clerk. Minutes of Meeting of March 3rd, read and approved. In Re Application pipe line,E.C.Martln In Re D~mping of Rubbish, etc. Newbert Protection District In Re Recommendation Indust~a~al ~anufacturing District and In Re Petition extension of sewer line East First St. The application of E.C. Martin for permission to construct a pips line for irrigation purposes under McOlay St. at its intersection with Chestnut Ave. was granted on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried. A communication from Clyde Bishop for the Newbert Protection District informing the Board that the dumping of rubbish and trash on the right of way of the Newbert Protection district was not being pureu, as understood and s~eed upon, and asking that a committee be appointed to take up this matter. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryat' that such a committee be appointed, President Vlsel made the following appointment, Trustees McPhee and Tubbe and Sanitary Inspector Chandler. # A communication from the Chamber Of Commerce of the Advisory Committee recommending that an industrial and manufacturing district be established at an earl date, amggssting the territory between the Salt Lak~ right of way and the Santa Fe Tracks, and such additional strip of land on the East side of the Santa Fe tracks as may hereafter be determined. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt, that the committee appointed some time ago in reference to securing an industrial district be discharged, carried, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, that the territory recommended by the Chamber of Commerce be placed on file to be taken up by the new Board of City Trustees. The petition of Charles Kauffman and eons for an extension of its sewer on East First St. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, Supt. of Sewers Wray was instructed to make the necessary extension.
