In Re Dump ground rental In Re Rental Ground on Edinger St. In Re Permlt,G.E.Norton A petition signed by a number of property owners asking that Myrtle St. be opened from Par ton to Bristol and suggesting that the street from Baker to Bristol be cut down so as to not interfere with the pumping plant on the Matthews ranch. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf,the matter was referred to the Board as a committee of the whole and City Attorney instructed to preeare the necessary Resoluti( declaring its intention to improve said street as to the procee ings already started. The matter of the petition of the Standard Oil Co. to erect and maintain a gasoline service station at the South~corne~ o~' First and Main sra. the building to be erected to conform t¢ all the City Building regulations and fire ordinances. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe that the petition be denied, carried by the following vote to-wit:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee,and Maryatt, Noes,President Vieel. Not voting, Trustee Greenleaf. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee, W.D. Dlllinbeck was granted permission to erect a sign in front of his place of business on Main St., same to conform to the one granted Fine and Gllbank. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf,Clty Attorney Scott was instructed to interview the Southern Co. Gas Company in reference to their franchise tax settlement and report at next meeting. On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt, the Clerk was instructed to notify Otto MoClure that the $50.00 for rent on that part of the dump grounds leases by him mustb~paid at once. # On motion of Trustee McPhee, was for and payable. duly seconded by Tubbs,the Clerk In Re On motion of Alley between Main and Cypress O'Brien was instructed to notify Frank Planchon that the rental of $20 the City property on Edinger St. leased by him is now due On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt amd carried, G.E.Norton was granted a permit to build a sleeping porc~ at 431W.lst St. Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs,~treet Supt instructed to search through the records to see if the alley from Myrtle to Camile between Main and Cypress had ever been deeded to the City and that if same belongs tO the City to have the trees removed.
