In Re <br /> <br />Petition to open Myrtle <br /> <br />from Patton to Bristol <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition Standard Oil <br /> <br />let and Main Sts. <br /> <br />Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permission to erect sign <br /> <br />W.D.Dllllnbeck <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Franchise Tax,Gas Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Dump ground rental <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Rental Ground on Edinger St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permlt,G.E.Norton <br /> <br />A petition signed by a number of property owners asking that <br />Myrtle St. be opened from Par ton to Bristol and suggesting <br />that the street from Baker to Bristol be cut down so as to not <br />interfere with the pumping plant on the Matthews ranch. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf,the <br />matter was referred to the Board as a committee of the whole <br />and City Attorney instructed to preeare the necessary Resoluti( <br />declaring its intention to improve said street as to the procee <br />ings already started. <br /> <br />The matter of the petition of the Standard Oil Co. to erect <br />and maintain a gasoline service station at the South~corne~ <br />o~' First and Main sra. the building to be erected to conform t¢ <br />all the City Building regulations and fire ordinances. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe that the <br />petition be denied, carried by the following vote to-wit:- <br />Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee,and Maryatt, Noes,President Vieel. <br />Not voting, Trustee Greenleaf. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee, W.D. <br /> Dlllinbeck was granted permission to erect a sign in front of <br /> his place of business on Main St., same to conform to the one <br /> <br />granted Fine and Gllbank. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br /> <br />duly seconded by Greenleaf,Clty <br /> <br />Attorney Scott was instructed to interview the Southern Co. <br />Gas Company in reference to their franchise tax settlement and <br />report at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt, the Clerk <br />was instructed to notify Otto MoClure that the $50.00 for rent <br />on that part of the dump grounds leases by him mustb~paid at <br /> <br />once. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, <br /> <br />was <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />and payable. <br /> <br />duly seconded by Tubbs,the Clerk <br /> <br />In Re On motion of <br /> <br />Alley between Main and Cypress O'Brien was <br /> <br />instructed to notify Frank Planchon that the rental of $20 <br />the City property on Edinger St. leased by him is now due <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt amd <br />carried, G.E.Norton was granted a permit to build a sleeping <br />porc~ at 431W.lst St. <br /> <br />Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs,~treet Supt <br />instructed to search through the records to see <br />if the alley from Myrtle to Camile between Main and Cypress had <br />ever been deeded to the City and that if same belongs tO the <br />City to have the trees removed. <br /> <br /> <br />
