In Re City Engineer In Re Applioation for and Plumbing Inspector In Re Permit to hang sign was deferred to Monday April 2Sth, 1919. The following applications for the ~ppointment of City Engineer were read: W.W. Hoy, C.R.Sumner and the Engineering Service Co. Paul R.Oowles,Mgr. On motion of Trustee Oreenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, action on the appointment was deferred to Monday April 2~th,1919. The following applications for City Electrician City Electrician Plumbing Inspector war read: S~dney J. Cornell, Wm. MoCullooh for City Electrician, and Nrnest E.Wood for Plumbing Inspector. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Oreenleaf, a~tion on the appointments were deferred to Monday APril 2~th,1919. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs all appointments are to serve at the pleasure of the Boar, In the application Of the Cope Electric Co. for a permit to hang a new electric sig~ on the I.O.O.F. Bldg. on Main St. between ~rd and 4th, was granted on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman,subject tc the City 0rdinanoes and regulations of the City Electrician. In Re On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly leoonded by Greenleaf Railroad Commission hearing and carried, City Atty. Soott wa~ instructed to attend pertaining to raise of R.R.fares the Railroad Commission hearing to be held in Los In Re Invitation S.A.Insuranoe Club Angeles,April 2~th, l~lg, and make protest ~gainst the proposed raise of fares by the P.E.Ry. Co. An invitation from the Santa Aha Insurance Club inviting the Board to attend a Fire Prevention luncheon at James' April 2~th, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the invitation was accepted.
