Emma R~nkin. <br /> <br />Sn motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf,that <br />the present Censor Commission consisting of John F.Adame, <br />Mrs. Lea Warren a~d Rev. P.F.Schrook be re-appointed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the <br /> <br />following appointments in the Fire Dept. were made, <br />John Luxembourger Fire Chief, R.$. Elliott, 8id Kimball, <br /> <br />W.R.Brown and W.C.Fox, drivers. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale, Mice E~na <br />Hamaker was appointed Police Clerk in the marshal's office. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tu~bs, duly seconded by Chapman, <br /> <br /> Miss Irate Owens was appointed City Btenographer. <br /> <br /> Applications from I.N.Barnett and John Pugh for the appointment <br /> of Janitor of the City Hall were read and on motion of Trustee <br /> Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman that the Board proceed to vote <br /> on same, and I.N. Barnett receiving the four votes east was <br /> declared appointed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Greenleaf, <br /> <br /> the following appointments we~ made in the Water Dept. <br /> Supt. of Water & Sewers, Walter Wray, 8soy.Water De~t. <br /> Mfs.Laura Murray, and Iiiss Lee Patton Clerk. <br /> <br /> The following applications for appointment on the Police force <br /> were read: M.W. 8weetser, J.S.Ranoh, Floyd Il. Dean, W.W.Wood <br /> J.D. Woodroof, D.A.Marks, and the following reappointmente <br /> Joseph H. Ryan, John Combe, C.L. Neuschwanger, E.W. Boynton <br /> J.W.Murray, F.W.Heard and F.R.Stewart Motorcycle officer. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbe duly seconded by Chapman, the Board <br /> proceeded to ballot on the &pplicatione. Five ballots being <br /> cast resulted as f~l. lowe: Joe Ryan 5, J.W.Wurray 5, John Combe <br /> <br />C.L.Neuschwanger 5, E.W.
