In Re Appointment City Electric and Plumbing Inapector In Re Park Custodian Contract In Re Salary Water Supt. In Re City Stenographer Salary Resignation of J. O'Brien On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the salary of the Water Supt. Wray was placed at $200.00 per month starting with May let, 1919. # On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale,and carried, the salary of Miss Kate Owens was placed at $85.00 per month starting with May let,1919. # Mr. James O'Brien came before the Board at this time and et.ting that he wi.hem to tender his resignation to take effect immediately, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried the resignation was &ocepted. A motion by Trustee Greenleaf to adjourn was duly seconded by Trustee Dale and carried. and City Engineer wa~ placed at $200.00 per month and $30.00 per month for use of auto and the upkeep of same. On motion duly seconded and carried, the Clerk wa~ instructed to read the names of the applicants for the appointment of Street Supt. and City Engineer, the followin names were read, J.F. Holloway,L.M.Ballard, Jamee O'Brien R.E. Beewlo~ I.I.Stukey, H.W. Warwick, C.R.Sumner, Paul R. Cow,lc, and W.W.Noy. A ballot being taken on the above names, four vote. were cast and W.W.Noy receiving all four vote. was declared appointed and to qualify by filing his bond. eo as to take charge May let, 1919. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly ,eoonded by Tubbe in the matter of the appointment of City Electrician and Plumt lng Inspector was deferred indefinitely. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, the City Attorney was instructed to draw up a new contract for the Park Custodian at by President Mitchell the same figures, ease to be signed and Park Custodian VanderBruggen.
