Association in reference to the Telephone situation. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale the invita- <br /> tion was accepted. <br /> <br /> A communication from W.H.Daum, Mgr. Cai.Great Western Inter- <br /> state Air route in reference to Aerial Transportation upon a <br /> large scale and amking the Board to hesitate about tying up <br /> with any combination; on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br /> seconded by Oreenleaf same was ordered placed on file. <br /> <br /> The application of Roger Shipley for a license to d~nduot <br /> <br /> a pool hall at 1067 W.Sth St. was oh motion of Trustee <br /> Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs, referred to a committee with <br /> power to act, Trustees Tubbs and Dale and Marshal Jernigan <br /> were appointed a~ such committee. <br /> <br /> A communication from Mrs.~.H.Stewart,President Parent-Teacher: <br /> Association 5th Bt. School in reference to sidewalk condition <br /> on West 5th Bt.was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly <br /> seconded by Chapman, ordered filed. <br /> <br /> Committee Reports: <br /> <br /> The committees pertaining to petition for an alley in Block 9 <br /> Ross Addition; Home Tel.Co. Ordinance, and Abandoning an alle <br /> in Block'A'~alley,s Addition were continued. <br /> <br />The committee consisting of Truste~Tuhbs,and Dale pertaining <br />to the &pplicmtlon of M.O.Hawk for a permit to operate & <br />machine for sharpening safety razor blades at the Southeast <br />corner of 4th and Sycamore made a favorable report and on <br />motion oz' Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf the <br />request was granted temporarily. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The committee consisting of Trustees Greenleaf and Tubhs <br />reported favorable on the petition asking that Hall&day St. <br />from Chestnut to McFadden be declared an open street, and on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, the <br />request was granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
